Through the Merle Kling Undergraduate Honors Fellowship, the Center for Humanities @ WUSTL supports exceptional undergraduate students for two years of sustained humanities research under faculty mentorship. At the end of the two-year Kling Fellowship, the center then provides an opportunity for these students to publish their research through the Kling Fellowship journal Slideshow.

I designed and edited the layout & cover of Slideshow Volume 16-17, the inaugural double edition. I copyedited the final articles and formatted the entire book. My article “Big D Stands for Big Demeanor : How Black Women Queer Masculinity in Hip-Hop” is also featured in this Slideshow edition. It is a snapshot of my larger Senior Undergraduate thesis, "Yeah I'm Still That Bitch, but Now I'm Feelin' Like the Man : How Black Women Rappers Queer Masculinity in Hip Hop.”
